A full grin splayed over his features as she approached, his arm extending to hand the brunette the bouquet flowers, something he rarely every did, always haven forgotten special occasions and such, he was more of a spur of the moment kinda man. “Shame, y’have a lovely singin’ voice.” he complimented again allowing it to settle in a bit more with the continuous smile playing at his lips as he leaned in to steal a quick but meaningful kiss.
“M’not that I wanted to but yes, Art said I needed t’go home, get satisfaction outta it still since I i’m here and not home though.” he chuckled. Of course it wasn’t off searching for some fugitive he was desperate to grasp but it was time well spent, and it usually was when it came to Sara.
“See you closed early.”
Thankfully taking the flowers from the man before her, she lifted the bouquet to her nose as a bit of a wider smile spread across her face. They smelled beautiful, and they were so bright. Sure, Raylan didn’t have the best memory for special occasions, but the little “just because” moments counted just as much. When he brought her flowers, or even sent them, she always loved them and displayed them for everyone to see.
She’d began to speak again when Raylan leaned in and kissed her, it took her a little bit by surprise but she wasn’t apposed to it and she returned his kiss, her fingers brushing his jaw as he pulled away from her. Though he’d kissed her before, it still brought a little blush to her cheeks.
“Well, you have to take a break sometimes.” she spoke, looking at him through narrowed eyes. Though, she was only light-heartedly picking on him.
She shrugged slightly, glancing around the empty room around them before looking up into his eyes again. “I wasn’t getting any customers.. Figured it was just as well that I closed early.” she sighed. She had gotten one customer in, before Raylan, but it was someone she’d never wanted to see again. And by the look of things, he was back to harass her.
